These terms govern text messages sent through the SonaLift platform on behalf of our clients. We are committed to responsible, transparent, and compliant messaging.

1. Agreement to Receive Messages
By opting in to SMS communications from a SonaLift client (such as a dealership, service centre, or business), you agree to receive recurring automated text messages related to service reminders, promotional offers, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service. You may opt in through various methods including web forms, in-person sign-ups, or responding to an initial outreach message.
2. Message Frequency and Content
Message frequency varies depending on the campaign and your interactions with the sending business. Typical messaging includes:
- Service reminders and appointment confirmations.
- Promotional offers such as complimentary services or inspections.
- Follow-up messages after initial outreach (limited cadence).
- Booking confirmations and scheduling updates.
All messages are reviewed by human operators before sending. SonaLift enforces cadence limits to prevent excessive messaging. You will never receive more messages than the approved campaign sequence allows.
3. How to Opt Out
You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out:
- You will receive a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out.
- Your number is immediately and permanently added to our suppression list.
- You will not receive any further messages from that campaign.
- Opting out is permanent — your number will never be re-added without your explicit consent.

5. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. SonaLift does not charge recipients for text messages, but standard carrier messaging fees may apply.
SonaLift and its clients are not responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier related to receiving text messages.
6. Supported Carriers
Messages are sent via Twilio and are compatible with all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Delivery is subject to carrier network availability.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Your mobile number and messaging data are protected under our privacy policy. Key commitments:
- No sharing for marketing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- No opt-in data sharing: All categories of data exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.
- Data isolation: Your data is isolated at the database level and is never accessible to other SonaLift clients.
- Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

8. Compliance and Regulations
All SMS communications sent through SonaLift comply with applicable regulations including:
- Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA): Messages are only sent to recipients who have provided prior express consent.
- CAN-SPAM Act: All messages include clear sender identification and opt-out mechanisms.
- CTIA Messaging Guidelines: We follow industry best practices for commercial messaging including proper opt-in, opt-out, and disclosure requirements.
- UK GDPR / PECR: For UK-based recipients, messages comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and UK General Data Protection Regulation.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through our platform or via email. Continued receipt of messages after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
You can opt out at any time regardless of any changes to these terms by replying STOP.
